Sadly, i had to leave the top rated airport in the world and get on a smaller luxe plane. Life is rough! Johannesburg is next - with a concerningly short connection time. So much so I hired a meet and greet service to help me jump the queues and navigate the airport more efficiently. If all goes well, it’s back to coach class on a cramped plane to Victoria Falls, (both a town and falls.) Hopefully I’ll have two days to relax and take in the sites before the spinning commences. Fingers crossed.
Scored another giri bag, toiletries and a another pair of pjs. More pink bubbly, chicken cordon bleu, then, some time later a traditional Arabic breakfast.
Entertainment is kind of “meh.” I ended up just listening to various sheiks reading the Quran on the last flight. Soothing and incomprehensible.
This plane has live cameras novel!
Always enjoy the subtle singular focus on mecca when in muslim countries.
Watched a low budget, culturally interesting, African movie, Sista, about a young single mother raising two kids.
